The cat is an obligate carnivore<\/strong>. Their natural diet (mice, birds) provides not only muscle meat, but also minerals from bones, fiber from fur, and pre-digested plant matter from the prey’s stomach. <\/p>\n

High-quality protein, 2-3 times a week. Important:<\/strong> Only feed cooked\/steamed, as raw fish depletes Vitamin B1. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Milk is food, not a drink! In case of intolerance (diarrhea), yogurt is a good calcium alternative. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

BARF (Biologically Appropriate Raw Food)<\/h4>\n

The healthiest option. However, it requires knowledge of supplementation (Vitamins A, D, E, K & minerals) to prevent deficiency symptoms. <\/p>\n

Canned Food (Wet Food)<\/h4>\n

Practical, but quality is crucial: Min. 90% meat\/fish, no flavor enhancers, sugar, or “animal by-products.” <\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Dry Food (Not Recommended)<\/h4>\n

Main cause of urinary grit and stones. Dehydrates the body (a 6kg cat would have to drink an additional 350ml!). Often contains addictive attractants. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
